The ICONE Group (Industrial Conversions Europe) partners and consultants have specialized since 1998 in improving manufacturing performance. They have led operational missions in twenty different business sectors in more than 15 countries. Since 2003, they started to realize successful Industrial Conversion or “Reindustrialization” missions.
Unlike a traditional consulting firm specialized in Change Management or HR restructuring and outplacement, we operate only on the M&A segment, but we support with different competencies all aspects of the Conversion, on the transferor and on the buyer side.
We employ experts having the exact technical expertise to achieve the operational targets of our missions. This expertise allows us to analyse the impact of the Industrial Conversion and the usability of existing technical means and machinery on a production site, in a very short time. It also enables us to activate our large network of industrial owners to identify potential interest for the production sites to be closed. At the same time, our experience allows us to easily manage the contractual, financial and social aspects of the conversion projects.
Our methodology encompasses a specialized expertise, both technical and legal or organizational, that no other consulting firm can demonstrate in the same manner. This is why employing ICONE Group on a project does not mean to EXCLUDE other solutions (such as a re-industrialization project after a Social Plan or a partial conversion of a production site with re-industrialization). It just means to try out the most efficient solution first, and then apply the other options.
Our success clearly demonstrates that it is possible to convert industrial sites for other industries. That is why we charge most of our fees based on the success of the approach. In our case, the customer will not have to pay full fees to a consulting firm that does not provide immediately applicable solution.
